Tention Building As Fighter Jets Land In South Korea

Tention along the Korean Peninsula is at an all time high as US fighter jets have moved into position in what can only be a prelude to something very, very bad.

The stealth jets, will be performing joint exercises with the South Korean military this week and according to Pyongyang’s Rodong Sinmun newspaper, these activities are a “dangerous provocation” pushing the region “to the brink of a nuclear war.”

According to White House national security adviser HR McMaster, the chances of war grow every day. He made the statement during a conference in California on Saturday.

He stated that with every missile and nuclear test that Kim conducts, he has improved his country’s capabilities.

“I think it’s increasing every day, which means that we are in a race, really, we are in a race to be able to solve this problem,” McMaster said.

He made the remark in response to being asked if he thought that North Korea’s launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile earlier last week increased the likelyhood of war.

“There are ways to address this problem short of armed conflict, but it is a race because he’s getting closer and closer, and there’s not much time left,” he stated.

According to a South Korean defense official, the US are sending a whole lot of firepower to the area.

“The US aircraft that have landed on South Korea include six F-22s, six F-35s, six EA-18Gs,” the official said. “More than 10 F-15Cs and F-16s have also been deployed for the drill.”
